What people don't see
Our family story isn't pretty
People look at me and my mom and think we have the perfect life. We earned it. My mom raised me alone. She was on welfare, never went to high school, and had no degree. She built multiple businesses anyway, overcame her own addictions and family pain, and is now a certified life coach.
Addiction touched several people in our family, and some are still fighting it. That's why we talk about it. If you think your story disqualifies you, ours says otherwise.

My mom, Marcy (@coachmarcy), had me at 14. Single parent, no degree, and she faced real adversity, then built her own business anyway. Now she's a self-made business owner and a certified life coach, and she will tell you everything. Friendships, faith, money, men, building something of your own. Some episodes get deep. Some are just us being ridiculous. Both count.
